The Roost has now undergone over 10 years of development, refinement, and 650 hours of testing to make the ultimate shallow water prop. Unlike conventional mud propellers, the Roost does NOT require mud or deep submersion in water to generate adequate thrust. Specifically designed to perform well in aerated water, the Roost can start out and stay on plane without having to trim deep, which minimizes wear and tear on the propeller, seals, and bearings caused by continually running mud and sand. The Roost’s high-efficiency design does NOT artificially govern the engine, giving the user increased speed with less horsepower.
